Wednesday, March 4: Video Pitch Workshop with Nick Baker (LITS) and Elizabeth Long Lingo, Embedded Practitioner in Entrepreneurship
Wish you could create high quality videos to help market and raise funds for your student organization, social innovation, or entrepreneurial venture? Learn best practices for visual storytelling and making high-production videos on a low budget.
New this year: We will have a Video Pitch Competition as part of the Pitch4 Competition!

Tuesday, March 10 : Business Model Canvas Workshop with Paul Silva, Entrepreneur and Valley Venture Mentors founder
Learn to turn your passion and ideas into viable ventures from the Valley’s expert on Business Plan Development, and founder of the Valley’s first entrepreneurial accelerator program. Social Innovators and Entrepreneurs are invited to work through the enterprise business model canvas to articulate key partners, required resources, business processes, value propositions, cost structures and fundings streams.
When? Tuesday, March 10 at 5pm.
Mount Holyoke Entrepreneurial Spirit Awards:
Deadline Sunday, March 15. We are offering cash prizes from $300 to $1000 to honor students who embrace the entrepreneurial spirit and who are intending to start their own business or social enterprise. These awards are generously sponsored by the Grinspoon Foundation. To nominate yourself, please provide a description of 1) your business or social enterprise venture (this should be a short summary paragraph - 4 or 5 sentences) and 2) how you have demonstrated an entrepreneurial spirit. (Again, this should be a short summary paragraph - 4 or 5 sentences). Applications can be submitted through the CDC starting March 4.
Friday, March 27: Mount Holyoke Pitch4 Competition
Pitch4 celebrates entrepreneurship, creativity, and social innovation. Deliver your pitch, get expert feedback, and win a $500 cash prize.
This year there are four categories:
1) business
2) social innovation
3) audience favorite
4) video pitch.
Registration opens March 4 on the CDC.
